Privacy Policy
InnerSwitch is a privacy-first application. Your habits, reminders and progress stay on your device. The sections below describe the few things that do leave it.
Local Data
All habits, reminders, and progress data are stored locally on your device.
AI coach features
If you choose to use the AI coach (chat, photo analysis or voice), the text, image or audio you submit is sent to our server and processed by our AI provider (Groq) to generate a reply. It is not used for advertising. You can use the rest of the app without these features.
Usage analytics
We use anonymous product analytics (Aptabase) and a small log of in-app events (for example screen and upgrade-screen interactions) sent to our server together with a randomly generated device identifier (the Android ID on Android, the vendor identifier on iOS). It is not your name, email address or an advertising ID, and it is never shared with advertisers.
Pro licenses and the free trial
iOS: purchases are handled entirely by the App Store and our subscription provider, RevenueCat. We receive an entitlement status (active or not) — never your payment details, which Apple processes directly.
Android: Pro is unlocked with a license key, which you can get from our website. Activating a key sends the device identifier and the key to our license server. If you provide an email to restore or resend a key, it is used only to look up your license.
Free trial (Android). You can start a one-time, one-day trial from the app. To prevent repeat use, we collect and store: the email address you enter (we email you a 6-digit code to confirm it, and later send you a receipt and a "trial ending soon" notice — service messages only, no marketing list); the device identifier (the Android ID, which is specific to this app and device); your IP address; and the result of a Google Play Integrity check, which tells us whether the request came from the genuine app on a genuine device. This data is kept for as long as needed to enforce the one-trial-per-person limit and is used for nothing else. You can ask us to delete it at [email protected].
